Re: parking ramp! I think Hine's ramp compliance comment has to be viewed in concert with the Paris library design model as presented at the MoMA exhibit. All the same, it has always fascinated me how many parking garages would be quite dangerous for the handicapped. Even the "ramp" that is the sidewalk running the entire length of my block out front is well beyond what ramps in buildings are "allowed" to do. |
