you could ask REM to distill the philosophy of a 5 pound book into one page, and then argue, by peer review, in a public forum, point by point, how the thoughts of 'the great architectural thinker' stand up to shared experience. see where the assumptions are, where the no-go zones are, where aesthetics goes beyond 'seeing' and into 'meaning', and what the values of this pursuit is, and what guides the philosophies of this architectural messiah, and if it could in turn be communicated with others, by others, in a logical, rational, reasonable, and public manner, you know, brought down to earth, off the architectural pedastal of ego.
else, you could join the bakers and put a key-lime in REM's eye.
