Five bronze oil lamps and a cinerary olla.
In an ancient bronze Lamp, which is kept in Naples in the possession of His Excellency Mr. Cav. Hamilton Minister Plenipotentiary of His Majesty Brittanica.
B C Bronze oil lamps existing in the Cabinet of His Eminence Duke Franco Gaetani, found in the year 1773 in the Excavations of his Palace in S.a Maria Maggiore.
D E Ancient bronze oil lamps existing in the Museo del Collegio Romano.
F F Vase, or cinerary Olla, with a lid in Bronze, purchased in Rome by HSH the Landgrave of Hassia Cassel, in which the burnt bones of a Comedian were buried. The various Masks of Fauns, of which he used, are represented in various Medals located in the body of the Vase. This Actor brought back crowns, as seen in H. Medal K opens and closes, and therefore two are counted in this place, that is K L, and this part L is expressed on the facade in M. It therefore opened it Medal in time, in which the customary annual Libations were made, introducing into the *Vase
*Vase through the Holes N with the splashes of Milk, and other fragrant Liqueurs.

Morning without a cloud, wind moderate from WNW. Therm. 4°. After breakfast our sleigh took S & SL, B. Warner and Thom. L to town leaving Lydia to dine with us. Therm. rose to 13° about 3. About 1 PM my brother Wharton’s sleigh came out bringing Wm. Redwood, Hannah Wharton and our Hannah to dinner. Roger Eddowe and two of his sisters came about 3 to pay a visit, stayed about an hour, at 4 they and brother Wharton’s sleigh left us taking Lydia and Hannah to town, whose visits were not finished. Therm. rose 8 PM 9°, at Eddowe's this morning at 0.
