Ingelram
architect.
In the Chronicle of the Abbey of Bee, Normandy, France, it is written that Richard de Saint Leger, Abbot of Bee, wishing to build a new church at the abbey, confided the conduct of this work to Ingelram, maître de l'œuvre of the cathedral of Rouen. Nothing more is recorded about him. It appears from this document that Ingelram designed the third cathedral of Rouen, that which is now standing. The second was burned in 1200.
