My wife and self both indisposed, my driver's hands both hurt and swollen. We concluded not to go to Meeting. At 11 it began to snow which seems likely to continue. We employed some time reading the Bible and the children (Jabez and his companion Hallowell) some portions of Cowper’s Task[?]. Snow, hail and sleet continued toll night. Therm. rose but little.
