2006: scanned through Rupinder Singh's "Piranesi's Campo Marzio Plan: The Palimpsest of Interpretive Memory" for the first time.

1. I read through the Campo Marzio dissertation by Singh a couple of weeks ago, and since then I have recorded the plan images from Vasari the Younger's Ideal City which look to be a source of inspiration for Piranesi's Campo Marzio plans.
